About

Why write this blog?

In brief, early in December 2008 my wife and I were expecting our second baby. Four days before she was due to be born….she died.

The blog is my reflection on how life has been since then.

If it should serve to help anybody, particularly any other fathers who find themselves in a similar situation, that would be great.

I’m sorry you lost your little girl.

We’re down in Wexford… we lost our baby, too -Fionn, at 37 weeks 4 days in June 2008.

I’ve been blogging for over a year about our journey. my http://www.mybutterflychild. blogspot.com

  3. IrishDad – I am sorry about the loss of your sweet daughter. I know the pain in which you carry. I have lost two babies on different occations. The loss is like being hit with a blunt object, it knocks the wind out of you and leaves you confused and lost.

Thanks for this blog. I will list it on my blog for grieving dads @ http://www.GrievingDads.wordpress.com.

    Peace.
